Hummingbird Pictures - The Hummingbirds of St. Elmo, Colorado
Photo Gallery July 8, 2010 - This morning my friends from Louisiana and
I visited the St. Elmo Ghost Town in Chaffee County, Colorado.
The hummingbirds were busy and buzzing at the many feeders in front of the town's general store.
I stood approximately 6-8 feet from the feeders,
and zoomed-in as much as possible on the hummingbirds.
Shaking its wings quickly!
I love the beautiful patch of violet on its neck.
I snapped many photos in rapid succession. This might be my best photo!

One last photo. Across the street, many visitors were enamored
with the friendly
chipmunks.
However, I was more interesting in these magnificent birds!
