Two St. Elmo Postcards

These two historic postcards of St. Elmo were submitted by Jerry Probst in Arizona in November 2008.

The first one is dated "1805" but that must be a mistake. The town of St. Elmo did not exist in 1805! 1905 is a better guess - there are no vehicles in the photo, which is some evidence the photo probably dates to the early 20th century. This is the view of town from the hill east of town.
